Hello!
I would like to ask for some advice. We have extended our small mining cottage with an annex. The architect obtained the building permit / planning permission, so everything was approved. Now the annex is completely finished. I asked the architect to carry out the final inspection. He came over, looked everything over, and said it all looks nice. But shouldn’t someone from the city come out and inspect it as well? Will I receive any confirmation that everything has been done properly? Because I haven’t heard anything from the city or from the architect. Is it enough if the architect informs the city that everything is okay, or should I contact the building authority myself? I just don’t want them to come after five years and say I never reported the completion of the construction, just because the architect didn’t feel like doing it. Next time, I’ll hire someone else.
Best regards,
Axel

I think the tax office will get in touch. You need to fill out a form to have the property tax assessed. Since the value of the property has increased, you have to pay more property tax. At least that was the case for us.
