As if by magic, the temperature selector shifts from COLD to WARM
You can watch and count to three, then it changes from cold → warm
We have had two fixtures from the Ecostat system for two years:
1x shower: works perfectly
1x bathtub/shower connection: the ghost fixture
If you are suspicious: it happens exactly after 2 years
and with a Hansgrohe fixture marketed as high quality
Or is this just a random failure?

With a thermostat, hot water and cold water are always connected. This means that if the pressures in the supply lines are different, it can affect how the thermostat functions. Your description sounds like something in the basic conditions of the supply system has changed. The fact that this is not happening with the shower thermostat is probably because it is used differently. The adjustment likely only occurs when it is set to the coldest setting.
However, this is not a problem. Just contact us at the phone number 07836511282, and we can discuss everything, identify the cause of the issue, and, if necessary, provide you with the appropriate replacement parts. I believe it is just a minor issue.
