Hi,
my builder offers the following manufacturers for bathroom fixtures:

Alapé
Heibad
Inda
Sanipa
Vigour
Burgbad
Ardino
Duravit
Villeroy & Boch

Can anyone tell me which of these manufacturers are generally more affordable and which are positioned in the higher price range? That would make the initial selection (going through the manufacturers’ online catalogs) much easier. I’d prefer to look at the "Volkswagen" options first before moving on to the "Mercedes," so to speak.

Are there any manufacturers I should perhaps avoid?
Best regards,
froop

I only know Vigour (more like Skoda, I think – although this really depends a lot on the chosen “lines”), Duravit (also Skoda (?)), and Villeroy & Boch (more like VW to BMW (?) – here too, there are options ranging from affordable to very expensive).

My recommendation: Visit a few bathroom showrooms (or at least the one of your supplier). Don’t just look—make sure to touch and feel the products! Usually, the rough prices are displayed there as well, so you can get a good idea of the costs.

And another tip: We didn’t get our bathroom furniture through the plumbing company (we didn’t like the wholesale supplier’s selection). Instead, we bought the matching base and wall cabinets from a trusted furniture store. Just be careful to ensure that the base cabinets fit your sanitary fixtures. In our case, it was pelipal p_con³ for our Villeroy & Boch Subway 2.0 washbasins.
For the price of a single washbasin base cabinet through the plumbing company, we got a complete set (base cabinet, mirror cabinet, wall cabinet) including installation, with what felt like better quality and feel.

I agree with Jochen104's advice. Just take a stroll through a bathroom showroom.

We even had the sinks removed and bought bathroom vanities at a furniture store.
