Hello Dear Community.
In another thread, the topic of rimless toilets came up.
I would appreciate it if those of you who already own such a model could share your experiences.
I personally chose the Keramag Icon/4U model.
Thanks to ypg, I won’t be changing my decision anymore.
However, there may still be other community members who are facing this decision.
Good luck

In general, the topic is a bit unpleasant.
The seating position (at least for me) is such that it goes directly into the water. So this kind of problem (at least for me) occurs rather rarely. So you basically have a "random bidet."
what a topic
After spending hours on the phone today, Villeroy & Boch is off the table.
Their apron sink was a double-edged sword—on one hand, it offered protection against splashing while washing dishes, but on the other hand, it had a small ledge that needs to be cleaned and accessed underneath.
The deal-breaker was that to achieve the specified water consumption levels, we need a special cistern for the system to work properly. However, the four Geberit frames/cisterns are already installed.
Also, our little one wants a toilet seat with a 3D shark. According to Villeroy & Boch, no universal seats can be used—only theirs.
I’m now torn between Duravit and Keramag. Duravit seems to be the most efficient in terms of water consumption. But I still need to confirm the shape and make sure the shark design will fit properly...

mannymaus4 Mar 2015 18:21I would also be interested to know if there are rimless toilets with standard lids at all...
According to our plumbing supplier, the universal models do not fit all rimless toilets.
However, that did not matter to us. We decided to go with the “traditional” option.
Whether with or without a rim, both types need to be cleaned.
