What do you mean by breaking down pollutants? We also have lots of plants in our apartment... so naturally, there’s less space for other furniture! 😀 The air is generally much healthier and better when you have plants in the room because plants purify the air! Rubber plants don’t do that... you just don’t need to water and care for them regularly for that! 😉

zimmerone23 Oct 2008 23:36It’s possible that some plants are better for general indoor air quality than others. However, I don’t think about it too much. As long as there are a few plants placed in every room, I’m happy, and it also makes the space feel much more homely. 🙂
