Just a quick question... The painters didn’t mask off the windows at our place, so they’re really dirty. We’ve started cleaning them now, and it takes about 2 hours per window... At this rate, we’ll be busy for weeks :-/
Has anyone else had the same problem?

Anyway.
And yes: I would not have accepted it at all. But that is different from raising a complaint sometime after acceptance, while you’ve already cleaned half the windows. That’s not how it works :/
And from how this sounds here: friends and acquaintances...
Forum participants often quickly advise consulting a lawyer, issuing a formal complaint, arranging warnings, involving experts... but that is all just theory from outsiders. In reality, things look quite different.
