Hello,
Now that we have moved in during winter, it is about time to start working on the landscaping. We are unsure about the best order to proceed. Currently, the ground around the house is about 50cm (20 inches) lower than the desired finished height of the paving. So, gravel would need to be filled around the house (not everywhere, of course), and paving stones installed. For the terrace, we would like an aluminum patio cover, and behind that ideally a small pool. The soil dug out from the pool can easily stay on the property, as there is still some space available. What should we do first? How would you approach this?
Best regards,
Sabine

In terms of priority, exactly in the order you wrote.
If it is going to be a complete package carried out by one company, then it is up to them whether they do some tasks simultaneously.
The only exception is if the excavator for the pool excavation would have to drive over your paving. In that case, do the excavation first so the paving is not further stressed by the excavator.

Then pave, install the pool, finalize landscaping the property, rototill, and sow the lawn.
