igli2Hello,
we received a quote for 12.5 meters (41 feet) of heavy-duty double wire mesh fencing, including installation, for 1300 euros.
There are no corners involved, everything is straight. The posts need to be set in concrete in the ground.
Without VAT, the price would be 92 euros per linear meter (28 dollars per linear foot).
I’m not sure if this is a reasonable or a good price.
Could you give me an assessment?

We paid about 389 euros for the simplest 6x5x6 double wire mesh fence, approximately 12.5 m (41 feet) long, including posts and so on. We installed it ourselves in about 5 hours on a Saturday morning.
Plus concrete, around 100 euros.
If a company did the installation and your fence is of higher quality, I think the price is reasonable.

You have to keep in mind that the materials do cost something, and the company will send two people.
They might need about 4 hours.
So that's 8 hours of work in total, which also costs money. If you simply calculate 50 euros per hour, that amounts to 400 euros in labor costs.
And it’s probably more than 50 euros per hour.
That would mean at least 400 euros for materials plus at least 400 euros for labor.
Plus some profit margin, travel expenses, etc.
If you want to save money, you have to do it yourself.

I find the quoted price reasonable.
