even if the appliance is installed at a higher level, the cross-section of the air duct (part 13 in the installation manual) is slightly reduced. Whether this will cause any issues can only be confirmed by BSH (provided the inquiry reaches a qualified representative).

Thanks for the information. It’s interesting that the quality of these appliances seems quite poor, especially considering the prices. I’ve read similar things as well.

I might take a closer look at Liebherr after all, as they apparently use a more conventional construction method. NoFrost is important to me, but unfortunately, there isn’t much choice in the built-in appliance segment.
