Hello everyone,
I am considering buying a washer-dryer (a combined washing machine and dryer).
IKEA has a new model: Renlig FWM7D5.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any user reviews.
This dryer seems to be made by Electrolux, but I don't know which exact model.
Otherwise, I would have searched for it.
I just wanted to know if it is recommended for around 700 euros.
We plan to place it in our small kitchen and hope that the dryer
does not produce too much heat or ideally no laundry room effect in our kitchen!
In other words: it should not emit too much heat during drying.
Does anyone own this appliance or have heard about it?
Best regards,
Chris

It is the first of its kind.
...AEG introduced the L99699HWD at IFA, becoming the first manufacturer to successfully design heat pump technology compactly enough to fit into a washer-dryer without making the appliance oversized.
It’s hard to understand why they don’t charge more for it, especially considering the development effort must have been significant and the individual components likely aren’t off-the-shelf parts from existing machines.
Hello everyone,
I wanted to bring this topic up again because I would also like to have such a combo unit. I have a rather small apartment and don’t want to put two separate devices in there. However, I’m still a bit unsure about it.
It would be great if anyone has experience with this device.
Regards, elbi

I am also very interested in the washer-dryer Renlig. Due to space limitations, I would really like to buy the new Renlig. Can someone help me?
Thank you.

The Renlig FWM7D5 seems to no longer be sold, probably for a good reason.
We only bought ours last December, despite the mother-in-law’s recommendation to buy a Miele. Since we ordered a new kitchen for our new apartment that included planning, delivery, and installation services, it was just more convenient to also purchase the washer-dryer we still needed from Ikea and have everything delivered together.
We should have listened to her. The dryer part of the Renlig is already broken. The machine’s top surface gets very hot, and there’s even a slight burnt smell, but the drum stays cold and the laundry remains wet.
Customer service has been informed. We’ll see if and when the machine will ever work properly again.
