Dear Expert Team,
We have an MHG EcoStar 500 oil-fired heating system. I have a question regarding this:
Under the "time schedule" for heating circuit 1, we have not set any times.
For heating circuit 1 (underfloor heating), we have set a comfort setpoint of 21.5°C (70.7°F) and a reduced setpoint of 17°C (62.6°F).
How does the heating system know when to switch to reduced mode, and how can these times be adjusted if needed?
I tested by setting a time schedule from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM. However, after 9:30 PM, the heating system including the pump completely switches off for the entire night. Without a time schedule, the heating runs 24 hours in comfort mode.
Best regards,
Dan
