Hello, my construction project experienced significant delays of over a year due to the architect and city authorities. Now, the originally chosen construction company has raised prices considerably, even though the house became smaller after a redesign.
Therefore, I would like to request comparative bids based on the existing plans, which have already been approved.
It will be a solid (masonry) house with 2.5 stories and a separate apartment. It should meet KfW55 or better KfW40plus standards, as a photovoltaic system is mandatory in my case. The construction method should avoid the use of additional exterior insulation made of polystyrene.
Can anyone recommend a company? I contacted many companies some time ago, but only a small fraction responded, and an even smaller number eventually provided an offer.

There is a moderated section here about experiences with construction company XYZ. If you enter Waiblingen, Rems / Murr, or other nearby towns that are not too small in the forum search (or even potential candidates if you already have some in mind and want to read evaluations about them), you should be able to find something.I have already done that, but unfortunately didn’t find much.

By now, I can handle the search function, even if it sometimes seems unhelpful. And/or you can contact me directly—I use the same username with my email provider gmx (de). I can’t think of any offhand right now, but during my more than three and a half years here, I believe I’ve come across providers from your region a few times.

Nowadays, I wouldn’t just write an email but rather call first and arrange an appointment afterwards.
