Hello, I would like to make the bathroom windows frosted. There are adhesive films or spray-on options available. Has anyone had any experience with these and can give me some advice?

Best regards

I also tried UV film against the sun in the west. Without much success. They also didn’t come off easily. Now I’ve installed external roller blinds.
Removing films often works better at high temperatures or with warmed-up film (hairdryer). A heat gun is, in my opinion, a bit too much. The glass could crack.

My concern isn’t heat buildup but truly filtering out as much UV radiation as possible to protect my retro game collection from fading damage. In the old house, the shutter was closed in that room all the time, but that feels too unwelcoming in the new house. That’s why I wanted to try using film.

I am currently in the south, where on many windows of low-cost office buildings there are these films rolling up on the sides. It looks like Flodder. And my colleague was no longer able to remove it from a double casement window. I can’t say more.

impossible does not exist.

Unfortunately, I have no experience with that.

3. Then cut the other two sides along a steel ruler using a utility knife. A small gap at the edge is not harmful and actually looks better.

It’s not visible under the glazing beads at all.

You can hardly see it under the glass trims
Not bad at all. I agree. It’s too much work for me and the risk of glass breakage is too high.

You’re growing on me. Nerds FTW.
I still have to convince my wife where I’m allowed to keep my Star Wars figure collection xD.
Have you looked into display cases? Of course, collecting like that isn’t exactly common, but many people collect “something.” There must be a market for it.
