Hello,

we have been offered a Stiebel Eltron LWZ 170 for €10,000 for our 120sqm (1,292 sqft) semi-detached house, which is being built according to the 2016 Energy Saving Regulation (KfW 70 standard).

Does anyone have experience with the LWZ 170?
Is this offer reasonable?
Is a Zehnder ComfoAir 350 preferable, and what would the costs be?

Thank you very much!

What is the price range of the Comfair, including installation materials?

Hi Momad,

I’m also considering the Comfoair Q350 as an alternative to the Helios Earth Heat Exchanger 370.

I have now decided on the Zehnder Comfoair Q350 because I can fully integrate it into my planned home automation system (it has LAN, humidity, CO2 sensors, can be controlled via an app... etc). There are already some positive reviews online.

Where did you find those reviews? When I search, Google comes up with nothing. The system is already listed by my dealer, but he’s the only one stocking it... You noticed that the LAN and sensors are only optional, right? The app is also not yet available in the store. Somehow, this all doesn’t seem very reliable to me...

Best regards,
Andreas

I’m not sure if posting links is allowed here, otherwise try googling (Gadget Memorial + Zehnder Q350).
For me, LAN is a must-have, not just an optional accessory; CO2 sensors are nice to have...

I have had a Helios for 2 years, which came with LAN as standard and also supports the Modbus protocol, so there is quite a bit you can do with it if you know what you’re doing. It can also work with sensors, but these are optional as well.
