Hello everyone,

Does anyone happen to know if the installation dimensions of the Högvärdig induction cooktop are the same as those of the predecessor model HIN 4T? I just broke my cooktop and I’m really upset. How clumsy can you be? Now I’m hoping that the replacement model at least fits the existing cutout so I don’t have to replace the entire countertop. This project is going to be expensive enough anyway. Please, if anyone knows, I would be really grateful if you could let me know!

Best regards

Earlier, I saw that Ikea Hanau is selling HIN4T at the Family price of €199 until December 1st.

You would need to enlarge the cutout... I don’t remember the exact dimensions of the Högvärdig cooktop, but the cutout is definitely bigger.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I don’t have the exact cut-out dimensions on hand. The external dimensions of the Högvärdig are 78x52 cm (31x20.5 inches), and for the Nutid HIN4T, they were 58x51 cm (23x20 inches). The general rule of thumb is to cut about 1 cm (0.4 inches) smaller all around.

I guess you might be referring to the other cooktop: Nutid HIN4S. It has the same cut-out dimensions as the Högvärdig, which is 78x52 cm (31x20.5 inches). The successor to the Nutid HIN4T is the Folklig. Both of these have cut-outs of 58x51 cm (23x20 inches).

Clear?

Speculating won’t help; it might be something completely different. Let’s wait and see what the original poster replies.
