Hello everyone,
Does anyone happen to know if the installation dimensions of the Högvärdig induction cooktop are the same as those of the predecessor model HIN 4T? I just broke my cooktop and I’m really upset. How clumsy can you be? Now I’m hoping that the replacement model at least fits the existing cutout so I don’t have to replace the entire countertop. This project is going to be expensive enough anyway. Please, if anyone knows, I would be really grateful if you could let me know!
Best regards

and many, many thanks for the quick replies – you’re the best! Now I’ve caused even more confusion because my head is spinning after damaging the cooktop. So, I have the Framtid HIN 4T, which is the wider induction cooktop. As far as I can tell, the external dimensions are the same as the current Högvärdig, and I’m hopeful that the installation dimensions will also match, so the countertop can stay as is, especially since Nayla says you only need to cut about one centimeter (0.4 inches) smaller...
@ Ikea expert: Thanks for the tip about Hanau. Unfortunately, the measurements don’t fit, but that would have been great.
Thanks again and good night!
