Hello,

we want to buy a laundry tower for our utility room where the washing machine and dryer are located.

The washing machine and dryer should stand side by side, elevated (inside a cabinet).

Directly below them, there should be a small drawer that can be pulled out to place the laundry basket on, so you don’t have to bend down constantly when loading and unloading.

There should also be cabinets below and above the washing machine/dryer for storage (although upper cabinets are not a must).

Which laundry tower can you recommend? Does anyone have experience with something like this?

Where is a good place to buy this?

Laundry towers (probably original ones are very expensive) — I have already seen alternatives from xxllutz or poco (I am somewhat skeptical about poco’s quality at first).

The cabinet should of course be stable and not collapse under the weight of the washing machine, and it should not move.

Where else can I find such cabinets? (I haven’t found anything at Ikea.)

We planned our utility room using furniture from Nobilia.

The washing machine and the dryer are installed at a raised height. Even during the spin cycle, there is no shaking or jerking. There are many cabinets around the machines, providing plenty of storage space.

We think this solution is very good, but it could probably be done more cheaply in principle.

One option would be to build something like this yourself. You should just have enough DIY skills and maybe a few friends who are equally proficient in construction.
