Hello,

Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything in the search regarding my question....
Can someone tell me the annual heating energy demand per square meter allowed for a KfW 40 / 40 plus house?

Our development plan states that we must stay below 15 kWh per square meter per year, and we hope this is achievable with a KfW 40 house.

That would be a passive house.

Our KfW40+ house has a primary energy demand of 15 kWh/m² (15 kWh/sq ft)

Yes, the first question is which energy demand is meant, as there are several definitions.
KfW40 only represents the best possible subsidy; a house with 3 kWh/m² can also be called a KfW40 house. Theoretically, the same applies to one with 20.
Your house then needs to be designed so that it meets the 15 (according to the definition in the development plan).

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Maybe I didn’t express myself clearly.... what are the minimum requirements for a KfW 40 house?

Here is the relevant passage from the development plan again
