we have recently looked at a few plots of land. According to the sellers, all are fully serviced.
What is still unclear to us is that some have this cable (see picture) and some do not.
Does a plot without this cable mean it is not fully serviced? Or what is the reason for this? Would there be additional costs if we purchase?

clausen7713 Oct 2022 07:07The costs for connecting the house to utilities should not be underestimated. For electricity and telecommunications, we paid flat fees between 1000 and 1500€ (euros). The water company charged a substantial amount of 8500€ (plus an additional 6000€ for excavation work related to the water supply on the property). Unfortunately, I had not expected anything like this at all.

I definitely did not expect anything like this. Thank you for this information. I already knew there would be additional costs, but I honestly didn’t expect it to be this much.
schubert7929 Oct 2022 12:20Developed does not necessarily mean connected to the house. For us, sewer connection was very expensive. With water and utilities, we spent nearly 10,000 euros.
