Hello everyone,
here is the situation..
The fencing regulations in our development specify a maximum height of 0.80m (0.8 feet) for my property (purple boundary).
However, this means that the entire side (red marking) would theoretically remain open, providing an unobstructed view into my garden.
Is there any way to have privacy screening there without having to maintain a 5.0m (16.4 feet) distance from the street?
Development Plan:
Fencing
Along public roadways, fencing is only permitted up to a maximum height of 0.80m (0.8 feet).
The same applies to the adjacent property areas up to the front building line, but no closer than 5.0m (16.4 feet) from the roadway.
Thanks in advance.

that is no problem at all, but what happens if something occurs at the intersection?Of course, everyone has to decide that for themselves. There are also people who take time off during snowfall to fulfill their clearing duties every half hour between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Alternatively, you could check with your city or municipality to find out what options are available. Depending on the building setback and the federal state, the house is usually located at a distance of 2.5 meters (8 feet) or more and is higher than 80 cm (31 inches).
You should also determine for yourself whether you want to completely conceal your garden or if plants, pergolas, etc., in front of quiet areas would be sufficient.
