Hello!

I recently installed a new Ikea kitchen and the Udden range hood.
The hood is set to recirculation mode, and I have installed the activated carbon filter.

Next to it, there is a kind of lever, and the symbols seem to indicate that I should switch from "exhaust" to "recirculation" mode – but the lever doesn’t really move, it can only be slightly bent to the side.
The user manual doesn’t mention this lever at all.

Does anyone know what this means?

Best regards and thanks,

Hello, isn’t that in the picture just the mounting nipple for the activated carbon filter?

No, the activated carbon filter is already installed alongside the other two components that were there.

With the Udden, you don’t need to change anything because both extraction and recirculation use the same air outlet on the unit.
The small lever is only relevant for other models where the air outlet changes depending on the mode.

Ah! So it’s a component that is also used in other extractor hoods and that’s the only reason it confused me..
