Dear community,

I want to assemble a Stolmen shelving system in a different room. Unfortunately, the reassembly didn’t work at all. (In the old room it was no problem, so theoretically it should work.)

I’m wondering if I incorrectly connected the individual parts of the telescopic poles after disassembly? Unfortunately, I can’t find an answer in the assembly instructions, as they assume the poles are correctly joined and don’t explain this part. Can you help me?

How do you properly connect the two poles together?
How is the plastic cap on the inner pole correctly screwed on?

On page 14 (step 5) of the assembly instructions, it shows that you can lock the telescopic pole length by twisting the inner and outer poles against each other. This method doesn’t work for me, so the problem must be somewhere there.

Thank you very much for your advice!

Hello,

logically judging from the pictures, I think it must be option A. It looks like the inner cone is being pushed into the outer one and thereby expanded. This causes the cone to be locked in the pipe.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try it that way.

That was really the crucial tip: Thank you very, very much!
It’s a pity that this is not explained that way in the Stolmen manual.
