Good morning everyone,
I recently purchased a Malm piece of furniture from IKEA and wanted to find the official warranty list. Unfortunately, I can’t find a directly accessible and complete list that clearly details the different Malm products and their warranty terms. My question is: How can I find the official warranty list for Malm furniture, meaning an overview that clearly and understandably states which models are covered under what conditions and for how long IKEA’s warranty applies?
I have already searched the IKEA website, but the information is either scattered or very general. Is there a reliable source, preferably directly from IKEA, where these details can be easily accessed?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Customer service can always provide binding confirmation of the warranty terms in case of complaints.Exactly. As for the process: In the event of damage, you should always keep the purchase receipt and contact customer service first. They will check whether the defect is covered by the warranty.
Methods such as providing proof via serial number, photos of the damage, and purchase date are standard.
A warranty list in the traditional sense is unnecessary for the customer, since the warranty conditions are always reviewed on an individual basis.
My conclusion here: An official "warranty list for Malm" as a single unified document simply does not exist. Warranty information can be found scattered across product pages, in some included documentation, and binding information is mostly provided through customer service.
This may be unsatisfactory for users seeking comprehensive information, but it is understandable given the variety of models and country-specific variations.
Perhaps IKEA should consider presenting this information more transparently and consolidated in the future.
