Hello everyone, I recently bought some IKEA Brimnes furniture, mainly cabinets with doors, and I’ve noticed that the doors don’t close properly. They stick in some places, are not flush, or hang slightly crooked. I’m interested in how to correctly adjust the doors of the IKEA Brimnes furniture so they close cleanly and evenly. Are there specific adjustment screws or mechanisms one should be aware of? If so, what is the best way to adjust the doors? I have already looked through the assembly instructions, but the adjustments are only briefly mentioned there. Thanks for your tips!

To be clear once again:
- Top screw for vertical adjustment
- Side screw for horizontal adjustment
- Inner screw for depth adjustment

Follow the order and check the door after each step.

If nothing else works: Sometimes a small shim under the piece of furniture can work wonders if it wobbles. This prevents any shifting caused by doors sticking. A little bit of ‘DIY magic’ 😊

Thank you very much for the many helpful tips! In summary, I understand that the door adjustment on the Brimnes is done using three screws per hinge, which control the vertical, horizontal, and depth adjustments. The most important advice is the order of these adjustments: vertical first, then horizontal, and finally depth. The cabinet frame should also be plumb to avoid any distortions. I will follow these tips step by step and hope that this will solve the problem. If I have any further questions, I will gladly reach out again!
