I have an HJUVIK mixer faucet that, despite thorough maintenance, has developed some limescale deposits.
According to the Ikea product description, descaling cleaners should not be used, so how can the limescale be removed?
Does anyone have experience with this?
I'm asking because I’m currently moving and making some changes to my kitchen (new cabinet fronts, new layout, new sink, new countertop, etc.).
For this reason, I removed the HJUVIK faucet, and now that I can examine it from all sides, the small limescale deposits are more noticeable, which bothers me.
I would appreciate tips on cleaning and descaling the HJUVIK that do not alter the material.
