Hello,
amidst the moving chaos, I may have lost the installation manual for the 4-zone ceramic cooktop Barmhärtig. However, I find it odd that Ikea doesn’t offer an installation manual on their website either.
How is the cooktop mounted mechanically? I can’t find any clips, as I’m used to from other ceramic cooktops. Is it simply placed into the cutout? Is there a template for cutting the countertop?

Includes a 5-year warranty. More information can be found in the warranty brochure.

the unit should have a frame with lips. The cooktop itself has clips that snap into these. The frame therefore defines the cutout dimensions for you. You don’t need an installation manual for this. If you don’t have this frame, simply place the cooktop upside down on the countertop and mark the cutout. Then cut about one centimeter (0.4 inches) smaller all around. Stick sealing tape from the hardware store directly to the edge and insert the cooktop. Silicone works as well, but this can cause problems if you ever need to remove the cooktop again.
