Hello,

Unfortunately, I cannot find the installation instructions for the Godmorgon bathroom light on the IKEA website. The product itself also does not include any paper instructions.

Could someone please help me with this?

What I noticed about the mirrored cabinet:
The electrical cable exits the wall exactly behind the mirrored cabinet. If I try to route the cables upward, they get pinched because there is no opening provided for the cables to pass through. I now have to drill or cut a passage, which interferes with securing the mirror film— not ideal.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide helpful advice!

Best regards,
kritimani

I also had to attach a longer cable (although at the point where the cable comes out behind the light fixture, it really needs to be thin so that the lamp can still snap into place afterwards).

For me, it never “clicked” either, and I had to exchange the lamp. I think some lamps have a manufacturing defect (though the IKEA sales assistant told me no one had ever complained before). In any case, the exchange helped. With the second (identical) lamp, the snapping mechanism worked. The adhesive strips really aren’t necessary. The mounting bracket should be screwed into the wall (with a wall plug).

Well, *click*!

The bathroom light Godmorgon didn’t make a CLICK for me either.

I bought the light on Ebay because it was no longer available at IKEA. So I couldn’t exchange it at IKEA for another light that does have a CLICK.

Nevertheless, I found a solution for myself:

3 angle brackets and a super glue (Loctite).

Since then, the light has been holding perfectly, up to now...

Hello everyone,

A question from a beginner here:

I have been looking at the Godmorgon bathroom light and am considering installing two of them. However, I’m confused by the installation instructions (which are available online): they show the electrical wiring connected somehow at the edge and inside. But where do these wires come from?

So my question is: How is the power cable routed from the wall to the connector?

Hello,
that depends on how your pipes are laid out.

Godmorgon looks nice and gives a straightforward impression. However, besides the already mentioned wiring, you also have to drill into the newly purchased mirror cabinet during installation to attach the rather amateurish plastic clips. The brackets on the left and right with the tiny plastic hooks are also impractical and do not feel sturdy. This lamp was not worth the money!

Hello!
Can anyone help me with how to replace the fluorescent tube in the Godmorgon bathroom light?
I can't find anything online, and the installation manual doesn’t provide much information either.
Thank you very much
