I am currently planning my new kitchen, and now I have to choose a countertop. Which is better, stone or synthetic material? I think both have advantages and disadvantages, but which countertop is the better choice for me?

But as I said, taste and appearance ultimately decide, along with the price.

We were very interested in a glass countertop as well. However, when we saw how the countertop looked after a few years in the kitchen showroom (it was installed in a display kitchen), we quickly decided against it.
We then chose a Silestone engineered stone countertop, which has a slightly textured surface (unfortunately also very expensive).

1. Glossy
2. Matte
3. Frosted
As long as it’s not frosted, you might be right. But I can assure you, you won’t be able to scratch a frosted one :-))
