Hello,

to match the sink with the dishwasher front, I would like to use a pull-out cabinet with just one large drawer, measuring 60x80 cm (24x31.5 inches), similar to the dishwasher. This is usually not officially allowed in planning. Is there a specific reason for that? Or can I simply replace the 20/60 cm (8/24 inches) fronts with an 80 cm (31.5 inches) front and attach it to the Maximeras drawer using drawer slides designed for doors? I imagine the door might be too heavy, which could be why this option is not available. Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks for the help.

hello mex,
I also used a 60x80 Ringhult door front for the base cabinet with waste sorting and a beverage drawer that is heavily loaded, to keep the side fronts consistent.
So far, no problems. I installed the handles about 15cm (6 inches) from the top.
The upper section inside the cabinet, where you would normally see the sink, I covered with cabinet scraps/shelf pieces, which looks good as well.

Hello, the reason it is not planned is for aesthetic purposes. With a 60cm x 80cm (24 inches x 31.5 inches) front, the sink is more visible.
