Hello,
what do you think about the rough draft of the house? Trash or usable? I’m not finished with the upper floor yet, so for now, only the ground floor is shown.
About the house:
- 2 full floors, pyramid roof
- Ground floor: Hard to see in the pictures, 2 sliding doors (cloakroom and living room)
- Upper floor: Child 1, Child 2, bathroom, bedroom, utility room + storage room
- Attic: Heating
Thanks!

I see it the same way as Yvonne. Definitely more or larger windows facing southeast. Otherwise, I like it. What does the upper floor look like? It is still in progress (5 rooms plus stairs need to be accommodated). I will upload it as soon as I consider it ready for display 🙂

May I ask which software you are using, and where it can be obtained, assuming it is freeware? Thanks. Google SketchUp – 30-day free trial available.xice2x schrieb:
A standard kitchen would also work. My wife found the kitchen island more comfortable because it faces the garden (to keep an eye on the children). No, if possible, always plan for a kitchen island. An island with an appropriate width has the advantage that you can work from the other side as well. This comes in handy, for example, when baking cookies. Besides, it simply provides plenty of workspace. An office desk is also more comfortable than one with a depth of 60cm (24 inches) 😉
However, a standing table, countertop, or bar would naturally support communication better 🙂

So it's more a matter of personal preference? 🙂 As long as the house remains structurally sound, it probably always is. Some people like maze-like corridors—I don’t.
