Hey everyone,
Does the 40mm (1.6 inches) Utrusta wire basket [1] fit into an FYNDIG base cabinet [2] or [3]?
The dimensions seem almost right, even though the middle holes for mounting are missing, but those could be drilled afterwards.
It would save me from back pain and forgotten groceries.
Best regards,
Tobias

The modular system you showed is interesting. I would ultimately need to install a strip at least 15 mm (0.6 inches) thick along the entire side and then attach the rails to it.
I would have to have the floors and fronts cut to size. But I am especially concerned about the double cabinet, whether the thin elements can withstand the load?!

16 mm (0.6 inches) is a cabinet thickness commonly used by well-known kitchen manufacturers. If you use Euro screws combined with chipboard screws, it will hold securely.
For the 40 cm (16 inches) wide cabinet, I would skip the effort and exchange it for a drawer cabinet.
