ᐅ Designing a Patio Roof for Conversion into a Conservatory

I’m not sure if questions about a patio roof are allowed here? I’ll try posting under “General,” but if it’s not appropriate, please feel free to delete the thread.

We are planning to install a patio roof on our house in spring 2016, which we eventually want to enclose later as a glasshouse or cold conservatory.

Unfortunately, we have no idea which profile suppliers on the market are good or less reliable.

So I would really appreciate your experiences. I will leave the installation aspect aside for now, as a good installer is obviously very important.

To what extent is it possible to compare aluminum profiles to car brands to make it more understandable for “laypeople”?

We are considering the following profiles:

TS-Aluminium
TeBau
Weinor
Solarlux

We almost always hear the phrase “we work with the market leader.” But being the market leader doesn’t necessarily mean delivering the best quality. Has anyone had experience with these four profiles? Intuitively, TS-Aluminium and Solarlux appeal to us the most. Where are the quality differences noticeable, and do they justify a higher or lower price of X EUR?
