Hello everyone,
I am planning to retrofit a decentralized ventilation system. Are there any positive experiences with this?
Which manufacturer would you recommend? There are many options on the market, but it is very difficult to judge what is good.
I would appreciate any suggestions. It’s hard to know where to start.

This is only about sales! If you expect customer service, you should stay away from this company. However, the reviews online are consistently positive. I have contacted the company myself, as they are among my top choices. So far, no reason to complain.
Two weeks ago, I installed six units from Südwind.
The initial contact went well. The units give a good impression. Installation and wireless networking worked smoothly. When running at low speed, they are pleasantly quiet. At high speed, however, the noise is unbearable.
Now comes the big problem!
When operating based on humidity control, they always switch to the highest speed once the preset humidity level is exceeded—even at night. I’m curious how this will work out. The tenants move in two weeks, and I fear the units will end up running permanently at the lowest speed instead of in a regulated mode. I think this is really poorly programmed. They should increase speed gradually. If the humidity limit is exceeded at night and the units suddenly run at maximum speed, nobody will be able to sleep.
If other devices handle this “smarter,” I would choose them today.
I don’t know whether other devices are equally loud.

When operating in humidity-controlled mode, the units always switch to the highest speed as soon as the set value is exceeded, even at night. I’m curious to see how this will work out. The tenants are moving in two weeks. I fear the units will run continuously at the lowest speed and not in regulated mode... I really think the programming is poor. They should ramp up step by step. If the humidity limit is exceeded at night and they start on the highest setting, nobody will be able to sleep.
If other units have this "cleverly" solved, I would choose different ones today.

I have three Südwind Advanced units (for the bedrooms) and one Solo for the bathroom.
Because of the rebar, it took us over two and a half hours to make the hole!
I have 5 x Wireless units and also the Solo model in the bathroom.
The only work I outsourced was drilling the holes. It cost 475€ for 6 core drillings. I wasn’t going to buy the equipment myself and do the drilling. It was done very professionally, without dust, using negative pressure, etc. Simply top quality!
I installed the electrical wiring myself afterward. Made the channels, inserted the cables, filled and sanded the plaster. If done carefully, it’s not visible afterwards.
