Hello everyone,

I want to retrofit soft-close dampers on the full-extension drawers of my Faktum Ikea kitchen.
For the sink cabinet, this worked without any issues. It came with those round dampers.
However, it’s different for the regular base cabinet with three drawers. Are there different systems for that?

Best regards,
Tobi

It works well with my 30-cm (12-inch) cabinet.
You probably have cabinets with drawers that were made before 2007 or not purchased in Germany. Please upload a picture of the drawer slides.

No, I only bought the drawers recently during the 20% promotion in Mannheim. I could try recording it with my phone so it’s easier to see and especially hear.
Well, if it really bothers me too much, luckily I can remove the small buffers again.

I was referring to the excerpts from hg6806.

That means I really need completely new drawers.
Would it be possible to do that and only use the slides from the existing ones?

Recently, I saw several complete oven drawers in the clearance section in Hanau. It’s always a matter of luck.

Since I need 3 pieces, the price of 75,- is somewhat cheaper for me, but I’m not sure if and which dampers are included or compatible. Or are only those for the round dampers generally sold nowadays?

If it’s not too urgent, wait a few more weeks. When the model change from Faktum to Metod happens, there might be another promotional offer, and surely some items from the kitchen display will end up in the clearance section.
