Hello everyone,
We are currently in the process of building or having an apartment built.
Yesterday, we noticed that the walls are wet and there is also a large puddle on the floor. The water is coming from a joint in the wall.
Is this normal? There is no screed yet, the windows are already installed, and the exterior already has the base coat plaster.
Thank you and best regards

There is another floor with an apartment above. And above that? There’s a reason why the top row must always be covered when building with hollow brick blocks. I hope these are not solid bricks.
I would inform the site manager and, depending on his response, formally report the defect in writing.
