Hello, no idea why my last thread was deleted... I wanted to position the access points myself in my floor plan to see how the Wi-Fi range changes. Someone had already done something like this for me in the deleted thread (which is now gone). However, I can’t add any access points at all because I don’t have a system running?!?? Is there a way to do this in a demo mode or something? I haven’t found any information about this.

Yeah, super... it works! Thanks a lot for the information. No idea why the old version was installed there.

If I prefer the smaller access points (Lite/Nano) for aesthetic reasons, it will probably be the Access Point Lite. The price is acceptable, but is the NanoHD significantly better and/or does it have an unbeatable advantage? However, it is also twice as expensive.

The Lite offers 300 + 867 Mbps (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz)
The NanoHD provides 300 + 1733 Mbps with 4x4 MU-MIMO

If you don’t need the higher data rate or don’t have devices that support it (now or in the near future), the theoretical bandwidth advantage isn’t worth it.

If you want high data rates in the future, for example automatic backups from notebooks over Wi-Fi, it might be worthwhile.

Otherwise, you don’t really need that advantage yet. You can always replace the access points later without any problems, even individually.
