Hello,
we have a row house from 1975. As far as I know, it was built using a timber frame construction, and panels were attached from the outside. Unfortunately, I don’t know the material of these panels.
Between the individual houses, there is a masonry wall, and on the second floor, there is wooden cladding on the outside. Now, deep cracks are appearing between the house and the masonry wall as well as the wooden cladding.
When installing new cables, I noticed that at the corner where the crack is between the wall and the house, you can see from the inside out. We installed the cables inside the wall and had to open the drywall (plasterboard) indoors. How can I best seal the crack on the outside? We have already used foam sealant on the inside. I have also uploaded two photos showing the cracks by the wall and the wooden cladding. Is exterior acrylic sealant sufficient here?
Thank you very much for your answers.
