We are currently renovating two small 62sqm (667 sq ft) apartments from 1955. There is quite a backlog of work.
We have already completed the electrical and plumbing work. Now we are looking for a tiler. Recently, a tiler visited to inspect the apartments.
In total, two small bathrooms of about 5-6sqm (54-65 sq ft) each need tiling. Floor tiles plus wall tiles (half-height). Additionally, we want to tile the hallway and kitchen. Overall, it would be about 80sqm (860 sq ft) of tiling.
What would be a fair price including installation, tiles, and VAT? The tile quality should be mid-range.
We need a rough estimate as we have little experience.
Thank you very much for your help and best regards

For medium formats (typically 30x60cm (12x24 inches)): around 50 to 60 euros per m2. On top of that, the tiles according to your preference, usually from the showroom provided by the tiler. Rarely are tiles purchased independently from a hardware store.
Bathrooms cost more per m2 due to the increased complexity.
