Hello,
the following situation has arisen. During an extension/renovation, the shell including the exterior façade and roof is already in place. Now the client has dropped out, and the client’s partner, who has no construction experience or in-depth knowledge, must finish the build. My question is not about the financial challenge for now, but whether there is some kind of construction supervision or consulting service that can explain the options for realizing the plans and coordinate and liaise with the tradespeople. When searching for a construction supervisor, I find nothing, and for construction consultants, it only seems to be experts for damage prevention who inspect the work. What is such a person called, and how much would it typically cost?

Thank you for helpful answers.

Searching for a "site supervisor" yields no results, and "construction supervisors" usually seem to be experts focused on damage prevention who inspect the work. What is the correct term for such a person, and what would be the approximate cost for their service?

Thank you for helpful answers.

Architect. It depends on the total construction cost.

Your extension was probably designed by a professional (an architect?). This expert should also be able to supervise the construction.

If they cannot or do not want to, they might be able to refer you to a colleague.

The costs for an architect (“all-inclusive package”) are roughly 10% of the total construction cost from start to finish, but since you have already done the planning, it might be around 3-5% of the construction cost (search term: service phases HOAI).
