Hello everyone.
We built our house 14 years ago, and I recently replaced my door intercom system with an analog 2N system that includes an analog camera.
After a long struggle with the manufacturer, the system is finally working, but unfortunately without the camera, so you are my last hope.
The company that sold me the equipment unfortunately has no expertise and cannot help me.
I can no longer return the system as I have had it for six months, so I need to get the entire system fully operational.
I hope someone here can assist me.
I connected the camera to an IP video server, but I am not getting any video signal from the camera, no matter what settings I try.
I thought the problem might be with the server, assuming the Vivotek VS8102 was not the correct one, so I returned it.
A new one arrived today, the Grandstream GXV3500, but the same issue persists—no video. The camera is connected to the server via two wires (positive and negative) using a BNC connector.
Maybe this is incorrect? I am completely lost.
Please, I would appreciate any help.
Thank you in advance.

I learned something like this ages ago during my training, but I’m out of practice now. There could be many possible causes. I might be completely off here, but maybe this will help anyway.
Is the camera properly connected? It seems to be an additional device.
Have you selected the correct signal on the server? The Vivotek definitely supports different signal types. If that is set incorrectly, no image will be received.
I found a company online that specializes in 2N devices: Keil Telecom. That might be another option to consider.

Yes, I wrote to them. They cannot determine which one is the correct one.

I returned the video server because I couldn’t get the camera to work with it no matter what I tried, and the manual and support are only available in English. Does anyone have a recommendation for one that is suitable for this purpose and ideally comes with a German manual and German support?
