Hello,
I am planning to have several empty conduits installed in a new build (network, satellite, backup, etc.).
What is the approximate cost to install such conduit, or what have you paid?
Thank you!

But in the majority of buildings I am familiar with, you don’t see horizontal slots – this is often discouraged because it can cause problems.
How is a homeowner supposed to know about a (non-binding) DIN standard regarding the installation zones?

Not at the finished floor level + 15–45cm (6–18 inches), because when would you even drill a hole there? I can’t remember the last time I fastened anything at that height.
Below the ceiling, sure, but still unlikely.
Since I did all the work myself, I know every pipe and cable by name.

Sebastian792 Jun 2016 10:23Yeah, me too – it was just my personal opinion. And I don’t think everyone immediately turns to Google if they don’t expect anything there (just thinking vertically).
But I do find your clutter up there on the ceiling quite a lot – though the structural engineer surely approved it anyway.
