ᐅ Colored patio door?

We want to replace a window in our house with a patio door, but we have the problem that we don’t know the manufacturer of the windows, so we can only get a similar door, not one from the same product line. I was thinking of ordering a colored door that matches the front door (the same design) to “distract” from the frame thickness and profile 😉

What do you think? Has anyone experienced the same or a similar problem? I find it hard to imagine how it would look, so if anyone has a photo, that would be great!

Hello,

first, you can take a look at the fittings of your windows – next to the hardware manufacturer, the window manufacturer might also be indicated.

If you don’t find anything there, you could carefully pry off one of the glass retainers (to avoid damaging it) and look inside the window sash for the manufacturer.

What do you understand by a patio door? A classic full-glass door with a colored frame?

So far, I have only found the fitting manufacturer "SI"; I’ll see if I can identify anything on the window sash. It doesn’t sound straightforward since these are aluminum windows—can I bend anything there?

By terrace door, I mean the classic all-glass door with a colored frame. What else comes to mind? I’m happy to get some inspiration 😉
