Hello,
I recently received my first apartment and want to paint.
My favorite choice is Alpina Wall Paint Original.
The description says it is a dispersion paint. I looked up the term and understand it to be a mixture of binders and solvents, pigments, as well as fillers and additives.
But do I need to apply a primer first, or can I paint directly onto the rough wall?
Although I am a mechanical engineering technician and could explain a lot on that topic, painting is outside my expertise, except when it comes to RAL color standards...
I would prefer to avoid any peeling in the apartment and having to redo everything...
I have completely removed the previous owner’s wallpaper without any residue.

If you want DIY store quality (like Alpina), go for Schöner Wohnen Wohlfühlweiss; for professional quality, choose Keim.
I found it better than dispersion paint.
Next time, I would apply a primer for an even better result...
