Hello everyone,
We plan to sow grass soon. Are there any recommendations?
About 120 sqm (1300 sq ft), mostly sunny, only shaded in the evening hours. It should be a "play" lawn since our kids are still young.
Is a standard off-the-shelf seed mix from the hardware store sufficient, or what should be used?

My parents chose sports turf at the time and were satisfied with it. We will also opt for a very durable lawn because of the children.
So, if extreme shade doesn’t interfere, a type of sports turf is the first choice. The main thing is durability.

More important than the seed itself is the care after sowing, meaning regular mowing to ensure the right varieties thrive well. Nutrient supply should also be adequate.
