Hello, we are having a house built: a KfW 40 wooden frame house without a ventilation system.
Today I received the results from the blower door test.

Result: 1.7
With two indications of air leakage points

Due to the construction, all inspection openings of the roller shutters are not airtight.

And there is a hole in the vapor barrier membrane of the ceiling between floors, which could cause moisture issues in the insulation layer.

The test is passed—do I have to accept it this way?

I am a complete beginner and appreciate any advice.

One problem arises when the drywall joint compound (spackling) has already been applied. This already improves the outcome, making it difficult to address certain problem areas without causing damage. It’s advisable to test early in order to make corrections.

We had a 1.2 with controlled residential ventilation and then did a lot of corrections before applying the joint compound, but certainly not everything. Construction was halted. No one wanted to deal with it, and I would have gone mad.
I skipped the third test since it was only about fixing defects, not about the overall quality.

My KfW85 deep-renovated house reached 0.4 and 0.6 in the second blower door test.
In the first blower door test, it was about 0.3 higher each time, and there was already a significant draft.
New build and 1.7?! Nightmare....

Today I noticed that two empty conduits leading outside and one going to the attic are not sealed at the openings… Could this be the reason for the poor result?

White household appliance with yellow warning label, washing machine connection, two flexible hoses.

Installation area with black cables, red insulation, and blue spiral flexible conduit coming out of the wall.

Yes, if the other end is also open and not buried in the ground or something like that, and the already mentioned things.

That alone is unlikely to be the cause. I attended the blower door test and we checked all the usual weak points.
