Hello,
I am looking for a comprehensive smart home platform that can integrate devices from different manufacturers.
So far, I have come across the following options:
Home Assistant
OpenHAB
ioBroker
Which of these platforms is the best or most widely used?
It is important to me that it runs stably and allows for creating good automations.
Additionally, there should be a smartphone app available that can be used on the go to control the smart home or at least check the status of devices remotely.
Are all of these programs open source and available for free?
Which of these platforms would you recommend, or should we perhaps consider WiButler or Homee, which also support various wireless standards?

We have standard roller shutters, all operated electrically. (Venetian blinds were not an option, as all houses need to have the same exterior appearance.)
Yes, I definitely prefer wireless window sensors. But you can combine KNX with wireless systems very well, right?
Free@Home also offers its own wireless window handles. Otherwise, I like the EnOcean window handles (battery-free and invisible). We wouldn't like the ugly wireless window sensors that stick onto the window. (Ugly, battery-powered, and they don’t detect the handle position of the window.)

Ok, so should we go with wireless?
Which wireless system would you recommend?
Should we wait for Matter, where everything is compatible with each other? We are only moving into the house at the beginning of 2023, and it can be easily retrofitted. We will install flush-mounted boxes with a depth of 63mm (2.5 inches) throughout the house.
Or should we go completely with EnOcean?
Does anyone know if EnOcean will also be compatible with Matter?

For now, focus on planning outlets, light fixtures, and other elements that are difficult to change later on!

We have already done that.
For the lighting, we installed the standard version with 1-2 main lights in each room.
We have distributed enough power outlets. (However, after handover, some will be upgraded by ourselves—for example, turning a double outlet into a quadruple or a single outlet into a triple or double.)
We only made sure that cable runs for the outlets are installed everywhere so that no chasing or as little chasing as possible is needed.
Is it possible to easily retrofit smart wireless solutions for two-way switches or intermediate switches later on?

So, would you recommend a wireless smart home system based on my requirements?
I’m just double-checking because we need to inform the electrician tomorrow whether the additional bus wiring or Free@Home in the budget option (only roller shutters and weather station, with bus cables installed everywhere) is preferred or not.
Thank you very much for your help.
