tadeus32113 Feb 2025 14:29Hello,
The bathroom in my basement is currently still in shell construction. It will be plastered soon. How is the concealed cistern installed?
Should I build it in with aerated concrete blocks (Ytong) before plastering?
Or plaster first and then cover it with double layers of OSB/gypsum fiberboard?

How is this usually done there?
Thanks and best regards

For an interior wall, it doesn’t make any difference anyway.

How is this usually handled there? Exactly as you planned. You are the client / decision-maker.

Should I build a supporting wall with Y-Tong blocks before plastering?
Or first plaster, then double-board with OSB/gypsum fiberboard? According to the situation shown in the photo, the construction is intended to be boarded only before tiling. Building a supporting wall beforehand does not seem reasonable, useful, or even planned here.
