I have two floor plan options for the bathroom (each comes with different constraints elsewhere in the house, but that’s not the focus here). One option is a "small" bathroom, and the other is 40cm (16 inches) wider, so "large." Does anyone have a bathroom of a similar size? How do you find it? Is the larger bathroom simply more expensive and requires more cleaning, or does it provide significantly more comfort? Thanks.

Maybe there is a basement? Also, having a toilet on an exterior wall is not possible with all floor plans. I have never experienced that in my entire life, and it has never been a problem...

I see from the plans that these are sandwich walls—meaning no easy way to make changes afterward without careful pre-planning; and especially: only the bathroom, not the rest of the house. This type of technical expert (TE), who briefly jumps in, asks a question without looking around, then quickly leaves and only returns at the next issue, is not doing themselves any favors—but probably never learns that. It seems some people are afraid that if they share more than just a tiny bit about their project, someone will steal their ideas or a flash mob will crash their topping-out ceremony.

Or this kind of participant simply doesn’t know better yet, but reads your post carefully, presents the whole project (floor plans for the entire house, etc.), then accepts constructive advice and actually listens – which really can happen.
