Hello dear members of the house building forum. I need help with bathroom planning. Unfortunately, I can’t decide between the two bathroom layouts. Alternative suggestions are very welcome. The bathtub should be a freestanding bathtub.

Bad Grundriss: Badezimmer mit Dusche, Toilette, Waschbecken und Eckbadewanne, 12,68 m2

Grundriss eines DG-Bades: Badewanne, zwei Waschbecken, Dusche und Toilette.

@Caro1404 ... you haven’t provided many measurements. The windows are also positioned differently in the two drawings. In one drawing, there is no sill height, etc.

And what do you mean by a freestanding bathtub… truly freestanding? It looks a bit tight for that.

But first, you should provide those offering help with more information: a single section of a floor plan is not enough to work with. Without the "rest" of the floor plan—at least the complete adjacent rooms—and the other floor as well (because of the soil pipes), there isn’t much to say besides "hello."

The bathtub is not freestanding enough to avoid hassle when cleaning. 🙂
And I would rather go for option 1.

Definitely, if only because of the window shower in 2
