ᐅ Awnings – No More Sun?

I have a problem... I have a beautiful house and a wonderful garden... Unfortunately, I almost always have full sun where I am... Now I’ve been thinking about getting an awning and wanted to ask if something like that takes up a lot of space and if I would still get some sun afterwards...
